FG to Shortlists 50,000 Npower Non- Graduates Beneficiaies for Training - Stipends will be paid to all concerned

This is to inform you and all Npower Beneficiaries, especially those on the Non graduate area that the Federal Government of Nigeria has approved the sum of N14 billion to help train and pay the required stipends to each beneficiaries that will be selected for training. see more details below. This post is specifically for Npower Batch C1/2 Non-Graduate Beneficiaries. We use this medium to inform you that Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved over Fourteen Billion Naira (N14 billion) to train 50,000 non-graduates of N-Power for a period of 9 months across Federation.

Thjis information is was gotten fom the meeting done at the Nigerian seat of power during the Federal Executive Council Meeting (FEC) where the decision was unilateralliy agreed by all pesent. a total of 50,000 non0graduates of N-power will be selected, trained and paid monthly stipends for a period of 9 months.

This was also contained in the memo released by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar-Farouk, when she briefed State house correspondents on the outcome of the FEC meeeting.

Ms Farouk further explained, that the N14 billion will be used to pay agencies that will be used in the training of the non-graduates for a period of nine months.

' Today, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development submitted a memo to council, asking council for approval for the enggagement of four Federal agencies that will help train our N-power non-graduates beneficiaires. These non-graduate beneficiries, about 50,000 will be tained in different skills, using four govenment agencies, as mentioned.

These agencies included the National Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Industrail  Training Fund (ITF), National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, and the Hydraulic Eqquipment Development Institute'.

she said, at the end of the training, the beneficiaries of the programme would be handed starter packs to begin their various business of interest.
